Fijai (WR), April 22, GNA, - Mr Elias Yusif Kogi Gyampson, President of the
Takoradi Zone of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, has call on Ghanaian
political leaders to endeavour to centre their campaign messages on peaceful
coexistence among citizens.
"do not let partisan politics divide us as a nation, we should let peace
unite us as one people for the development of Ghana".
emphasised that, peaceful co-existence among one another played a key role to
the development of the country.
President made the call during the second zonal annual conference on the
theme" the need for peaceful society-the role of the citizens" at
Fijai in the western region.
He in this
regard urged all citizens and political parties to eschew partisanship politics
and build Ghana.
Amin Abdul Raman, the representative of the Western Regional Minister said
peace was a continuous process and people must all endeavour to continue to
work on it.
and citizens who are part of the society, you have a major role to play in
ensuring a peaceful society and I am aware that the holy Quran teaches a lot
about peace and what you must do to promote a peaceful society" he added.
He said" I
therefore urge you to continue to live and practise peace as taught by the holy
Quran and I believe with this, we will have a peaceful society to live

Mission, Ghana called on all Ahmadiyya Muslims not to only preach peace, but to
practise it as the word "ISLAM" means peace.
said "ISLAM" which stands for peace and as a true Ahmadiyya Muslims
they must showcase peace in their life styles and in all aspects of their
