The donation followed an appeal by the Association for support towards the project, which is to serve as a regional secretariat, a rallying point for media practitioners, and a resource centre.

“We are into this together. Journalists are friends and customers of the Bank and we are hoping to be partners for life.”
Mr Tanson said GCB Bank had transformed its operations through the use of Information Technology with improved customer relations and invited prospective customers to join the GCB family now.
Mr A. B. Kafui Kanyi, Regional Chairman, GJA-Volta expressed gratitude to GCB Bank and other partners including Exim Bank, Afe Lotto, Berock Ventures, Loggu Motors, Go Energy Company Limited and the Volta Regional Coordinating Council for investing in the media.
He said the project when fully completed would improve the GJA brand, offer accommodation to visiting journalists and generate income for the Association.
