The device offers users an Ultra Fullview display and a 16-mega pixel (MP) auto pop-up selfie camera.
It said auto pop-up camera of the device was supported by artificial intelligence and could identify blue skies, greenery, indoor scenes, and snowy landscapes, as well as adjust the parameters to optimize the natural lighting conditions.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency said the device camera was invisible to the eye and hides within the body.
“Activate it and it shows out of the top edge of the phone within one second and retracts when you do not want to take any more selfies. This phone comes with 3D Portrait Lighting that aids users get studio-quality portraits and selfies wherever and whenever you want,” it said.
The statement noted that the device had three cameras at the back namely, 16MP, 8MP and 2MP that enabled users to capture images that were clear with top quality and high contrast even at night and in low-light scenarios.
It noted that the AI image stabilization algorithms support handheld long exposure shots for a maximum of six seconds at nighttime and improves the dynamic range and makes vivid, colourful photography possible.
The statement said the device’s super slow-motion feature records videos at 480 frames per second, then plays them back at the normal speed.
It said the HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 was in three colours namely; Midnight Black, Sapphire blue and Emerald Green.
The phone, the statement said was available at Telefonika, Compu-Ghana, Franko Trading and all leading phone shops in Ghana.
