Accra, July 11, GNA - Ghana’s fastest rising singer and rapper, Peter Fameye, has said the stress of doing things by himself during his early days in his music career was his biggest challenge.

Fameye recounted the tussle he had to go through in getting his song played on radio and other media platforms.

‘’It was difficult when I had to do everything by myself thus trying to get gigs to play and also pay “payola” to Disc Jockeys,’’ he told Ghana News Agency.

Fameye showered praises on his management, OGB Music, for coming on board and giving him the needed respite, as he is now focused on doing good music for his fans.

He also urged the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to make available digital music platforms that would maximise the earnings of artistes and make the industry lucrative enough to attract investors considering the massive potential in the country.

Fameye also revealed that he would in the next few months drop his maiden “Extended Play” album which contains lots of thrilling songs which according to him would shake the music airwaves.
