- Qatar's Ministry of Defense on Thursday offered military aid to Somalia in
support of security and stability in the country.
In a statement, the ministry said "68 up-to-date military vehicles were dispatched in joint efforts by the Qatari Armed Forces".
"The aid will help Somalia's effort to establish peace and stability and fight terrorism," the statement added.
