Accra, Nov.9,GNA - Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan has landed in Accra to undergo an MRI scan to ascertain the extent of an injury, he picked up during the team’s training at the Cape Coast Stadium on Tuesday.
The Kayserispor attacker limped of the pitch during first training session, with his team mates as they prepare for the Egypt game on Sunday November 12, 2017 in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Gyan, who is currently the country’s all-time top scorer stayed on the sidelines as the rest of the team went through training.
He told the media that, “I feel sad about this new injury and I do not know what to say.
“This is part of our career as footballers, there are ups and downs and this is one of those moments,” Gyan said.
