The Walk was organised in partnership with the \'Moms’ Health Club\', a local gymnasium.
The six-kilometre Walk started at Asafo through Danyame, Nhyiaeso, Ahodwo and ended at the COCOBOD Jubilee House, Adum.
The theme for the Walk was “Your health is your wealth” and according to the organizers it was meant to help encourage, particularly workers to maintain good health.
Dr Kojo Cobba Essel, Chief Executive Officer, Moms Health Centre, noted that daily exercises aids in the prevention of heart diseases, high blood pressure, stroke and obesity among others.
He counseled for at least 10 minutes of daily physical exercises through walking, jogging, swimming and the use of treadmill or elliptical, to strengthen the heart and body.
