Accra, Sept. 14, GNA - Alhaji Karim Gruzah, owner and bankroller of King Faisal Football Club, has said, some renowned football adminsitrators should make way onto the Normalisation Committee, as part of effrorts to revamp Ghana football.
According to the astute football administrator, the current four-member committee are not well known people in the football circles despite their great individual personalities and qualities.
The four-member committee which includes Dr Kofi Amoah (Chairman), Madam Naa Odofoley Nortey (Vice Chairman), with Mr. Dua Adonteng and Madam Lucy Quist serving as members are expected to lead reforms in Ghana.
In an interview with GNA Sports, Gruzah said, "I suggest there should be inclusion of more football people on the normalisation committee. I was surprised, there was no club chairmen, because we are the ones who invest in the game and our contributions would prove very crucial".
He said the expulsion of former GFA chairman Alhaji M.N.D Jawula from the Normalisation Committee, was unfortunate development.
"I'm still shocked why Jawula was excluded from the final list considering his vast experience in the football circles, but I expect someone like Jones Abu Alhassan and other experienced administrators to get on the committee in the near future.
The Normalization Committee is expected to complete its work by March 31, 2019.
