Cape Coast, June 30, GNA - Judges and lawyers, have been urged to uphold and defend what is right and just at all times.
The Right Reverend Dr. Victor Reginald Atta Baffoe, Anglican Diocesan
Bishop of Cape Coast said everything should be done to make sure that nobody was denied justice.
He was delivering the sermon at the 36th memorial service held at the Christ Church Anglican Cathedral for the three High Court Judges murdered in the fiery days of the December 31, Revolution.
Justices Fred Poku Sarkodie, Cecelia Koranteng-Addow and K. A. Agyepong, alongside a retired army officer, Major Sam Acquah, were abducted on the night of June 30, 1982, from their homes and callously murdered.
The Rt. Rev Dr. Atta Baffoe encouraged all to be inspired by the ideals the three judges stood for, saying, they had died because of their pursuit of the truth and integrity.
The judiciary should continue to strive for the truth and become the voice for the voiceless and the oppressed.
