He said investing in education was a lucrative venture and that every parent should ensure that they gave their wards good education to secure their future.
Mr Fianko-Asiedu made the call at the Graduation and Speech and Prize-Giving Day of the Life International College at Mataheko, near Afienya in the Greater Accra Region.
It was on the theme: “Raising the 21st Century Leader: The Impact of Christian Schools.”
Mr Fianko-Asiedu expressed regret that some parents neglected their responsibilities such as paying their children’s school fees and providing them with their basic educational needs.
He therefore urged parents to collaborate with teachers to ensure the proper upbringing of their children.
The Executive Director charged the students to desist from all forms of negative tendencies that may ruin their future aspirations, and commended the College for helping to mould many people who are occupying key positions.
Mr Issah Adams, the Managing Director of GN Bank, on his part urged the students to take their studies seriously and shy away from watching and playing video games.
Mr Anthony Gasu, Principal of the College, said Life Foundation Club, a philanthropic organisation had been supporting orphanages and urged the graduating students to use their competitive advantage to soar to the top.
The Reverend Dr. Gordon Kisseih, President of the Life International School, said a water treatment plant would soon be constructed to solve water challenges in the School, while accommodation for staff to enhance teaching and learning was also in the offing.
He expressed the hope that the students would work very hard to uphold the good name of the College.
