Huhunya (E/R), Apr. 22, GNA - Friends of Baafi, a
philanthropic organization with focus a on delivering humanitarian services,
has donated items to the Hour of Grace Orphanage Home, the Children's ward of
the Koforidua Regional Hospital and fete over 100 children.
The group, made
up of Ghanaians at home and diaspora who have benefited from the good deeds of
Mr Michael Okyere Baafi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Free Zones
donated to the facilities included, bags of rice, boxes of water, soft drinks,
packets of toilet rolls, buckets of Washing powder and detergents.
As part of the
donation, a party session was organised for the children at the two facilities
where the children dined with members of the group.

The CEO of Free
Zones Authority, Mr Baafi commended the group for showing love and care for the
children during this festive season.
“What we are
doing is part of sacrifice and seed sowing and it is more of an obligation not
a responsibility to take care of the community”, he explained.
Director of the Koforidua Regional Hospital, Dr Kwame Anim Boamah commended the
group and Mr Baafi for the support extended to the children since it would help
the children in their recovery.

other organizations to come to the aid of the Children's ward and the hospital
The mother at
the Hour of Grace Children's Home at Huhunya, Madam Janet Ansah Gbengo,
commended the group for the donation efforts making in touching lives.
She said the
donation would go a long way to support the facility and encourage the children
who have been abandoned and neglected by their parents.
