Winneba, Dec 31, GNA - Very Reverend Joseph Ossei, Superintendent Minister of the Ebenezer Methodist Cathedral in Winneba, has urged Ghanaians to re-position themselves for the blessings and virtues God the Almighty has set aside for the country in 2015.
Very Rev. Ossei made the call in a sermon he delivered at a special thanks-giving service to commemorate the Christmas festivities in Winneba.
Among organizations which expressed their appreciation to the Lord for His mercies, was the Nobles Number One Masquerading Fancy Dress Association, whose members celebrated their centenary anniversary and new couples and widows.
According to the Minister, as people, we should re-examine ourselves and call upon the Lord for He is ever ready to rescue us from the hardships and tribulations that come our way.
“Never be discouraged if things did not go well as expected in 2014, but be focused in the Lord and it will be well in 2015.”
Very Rev. Ossei said it is only when as human beings we position ourselves well and with perseverance, steadfastness, the Lord will meet us with blessings and peace in the New Year.
Prayers were said for God’s continuous blessings and peace for the country.
