Accra, July 10, GNA – Prophetess Faith Khadija
Owusu-Bonsu of the Awesome Grace Network (AGN) says Africa is in a position to
see massive development if the God factor is made to play a central role in the
scheme of things of the continent.
“In fulfilment of bible prophesy about Africa, we at AGN wish to remind Africa of her ordained role in God’s end-time salvation crusade as is captured in Psalm 68 verse 31,” she said.
Prophetess Owusu-Bonsu made the remark when the AGN, an interdenominational ministry held its 5th edition of Africa in Prayer and Praise of Our Maker on the theme: “Africa occupy till I come” at its premises at Mile ‘7’ near Achimota in Accra.
It is an annual event held on the Republic Day and attended by nationals of various African countries such as Niger, Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Congo Brazaville, DR Congo, Gabon, Chad among others, to intercede for Ghana and the African continent.
Prophetess Owusu-Bonsu said the intensity and frequency with which biblical predictions were being fulfilled on the globe was sufficient evidence for every sleeping Christian to seek Christ with urgency.
According to her, for the African continent and the black race, it is a wake-up call to assume her original role set up from the beginning to be implemented in the end-time and the period of dizziness over Africa, which made every meaningful effort on the continent end in futility had elapsed with brighter prospects about to dawn.
Reverend Dr. Emmanuel James Owusu-Bonsu, the President of the AGN in a sermon said in spite of the discrimination and humiliation Africa had suffered, there was still great hope for Africans.
He said; “it cannot be right that of all the vast and diverse resources at the disposal of Africa, only a few about seven foreign nations continue to dictate and control the terms for our development.”
Rev. Owusu-Bonsu said the good news was that just as God delivered Israel from Egypt, Africa’s deliverance was also near, adding that if Israel is rising today so would Africa, in fulfilment of biblical prophecy.
He however said, true transformation of a nation could only happen through the word of God if it was made the centrepiece of the nation’s affairs and reminded leaders of African nations to wake-up and reset their relations with God for the transformation of the continent to become a reality.
Africa, Rev Owusu-Bonsu said, must claim their original leadership role in the world because that was the initially intended biblical plan of God, for Africa to lead and reign.
This year’s event coincided with the graduation of seven students of different nationalities with one Ghanaian graduating with Diploma certificates from Awesome Bible College, an offshoot of the Network.
