President Mills said infrastructure development was necessary for the development of the economy and urged Finland to team up with Ghana for economic co-operation for their mutual benefit.

On Italy-Ghana relationship, President Mills reiterated government's vision of building a "Better Ghana" through investing in people, job creation, and building a strong economy, adding "the doors of Ghana are open for investment".

"Infrastructure forms the basis of a strong and resilient economy, "he said.

President Mills said Ghana valued her relationship with Mexico, and could complement each other's effort to improve on the living standards of their peoples.

Mr Stahi said the two countries could use their good relationship to tap into opportunities for their mutual benefits.
