Mr James Kofi Annan, Executive Director of the NGO, made the presentation at Sankor near Winneba.
He said the support came from the Trafficking Survivor Support Network (CTSSN) project started in June 2009, which is being supported by the American Jewish World Service.
Mr Annan said, two week ago, the NGO, under the CTSSN project, supplied school materials to 25 needy children to support their education.
The children, who are at risk of child trafficking, received items including books, tables and chairs, foot wear, school bags and chalkboards.
The beneficiary communities are Sankor, Warababa, Gyahadze, Kokobim and Essuekyir.
Mr Annan told the parents that the money is for the benefit of their children's education and not for their personal use.
He said "so long as a child stays in school, the funds will be available to him or her parents, to do business with, but as soon as the child drops out of school, the NGO will retrieve the funds with 30 percent interest".
According to the Executive Director, Challenging Heights assisted about 900 children under five different projects in 2009 and hoped that approximately 1,280 children under six different projects would be assisted in 2010.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), urged the parents to use the money purposely for their children education and not for any other thing.
Nii Ephraim spoke against child trafficking and warned that parents, who mortgage their children for money, would face serious consequences under the 2005 Human Trafficking Act.
