The maiden award ceremony dubbed: "Women of Courage," was to honour women who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour.
Speaking at the ceremony, Anna Owusu Prempeh Aidoo, founder of the organization, said the awards ceremony is to uplift women and to be a source of hope to humanity.
She disclosed that the organization intends to set up a Women’s Centre, which would effectively deal with issues that affect all women.
She congratulated all the award winners for excelling in their various fields of endeavour, as well as attending to the needs of the vulnerable in society.
Reverend Dr Joyce Aryee, Founder and Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries, a Christian Para-church Organization, said honouring women is what society should do all the time, as they are compassionate, considerate and enterprising.
She urged women to avoid being described as victims, as they were created by God to be victors.
Some of the award winners were Regina Agyare, CEO of Soronko Solutions, Annick Andre-Modera, Doris Ama Bramson, Headmistress of St Marys Senior High School, and Jeremie Van-Gershon, a Broadcaster.
The rest were Gladys Amorkor-Commey, CEO of All Pure Nature, Dr Catherine Segbefia, a Hematologist/Oncologist at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Grace Bennet a Philanthropist and Dr Joyce Aryee.
