Court remands accomplice in Adamorobe murder case

Mampong-Akuapem (E/R), April 30, GNA - TheMampong Magistrate Court on Monday, remanded Adin Kwame, a 37-year-old farmerin the murder of Tetteh Jacob, a 52-year-old carpenter.

He is accused of being an accomplice of DrGeorge Amartey Kesseh, a medical practitioner at Osu, suspected to havemurdered the carpenter.

His plea was not taken.

Both Kesseh and Kwame will re-appear onWednesday, May 7.

Prosecuting, Police Chief  Inspector Simon  Doe Glogah  told the  court presided over by Mrs Rhoda  K. Donkor that, there  was a land  dispute  between the accused  persons and  the deceased and  on  March 26,  Kesseh  threatened to kill the deceased if heever  stepped on the land.

The prosecution said, the deceased wasputting up a structure at Adamorobe for a block factory, which was destroyedpersistently by unknown persons.

The prosecution said on March 28, thedeceased decided to sleep in the temporal structure to protect it from beingdestroyed, and was unfortunately found dead in a pool of blood with gunshotwounds, the following day.
