Omanhene of New Juabeng Traditional Area launches book to commemorate 20th anniversary

Accra, Oct. 31, GNA - Daasebre Professor Oti Boateng, Omanhene of New Juabeng Traditional Area, has launched a book, entitled Development in Unity, to mark his twenty years anniversary celebration as the traditional ruler of the area.    

He said the book was also in honour of the people of the area for the opportunity and honour extended to him to serve them for the past years.    

“Last Friday was exactly 20 years since my enstoolment as the Omanhene of New Juabeng Traditional Area, it is therefore dedicated to the people of the Area, Ghana and the developing world,” he said.    

Daasebre Oti Boateng said the book was the first of three volumes that covers his life experiences, reflected in a research work with ten chapters on education, population and health, media relations, among others.    

“This book is therefore a precious gift of peace and prosperity to the people of New Juabeng Traditional Area, Ghana and the world”.    

Professor Ivan Addae-Mensah, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, launching the book on Monday in Accra, commended the author for compiling his wealth of experience for the benefit of people.
