Lawrence Tettteh calls on Ghanaians to seek more of God

Ada, Aug 9, GNA - Dr Lawrence Tetteh a world-renowned Evangelist, at the weekend said Ghanaians need to turn more to God to realize more of God’s presence, and more of his glory.

Dr Tetteh, who is also an Economist exhorted said:”Let’s turn from our wicked ways; and incline our hearts towards the Word of God. For it is only by these that God will bless the nation and move us to the height of development we desire.”

The Evangelist gave the exhortation, when he preached, as the main speaker at a thanksgiving service, at Ada, to round off this year’s celebration of Asafotufiam festival of the Chiefs and People of the Ada Traditional Area, in the Dangme East District of the Greater Accra Region.

Dr Tetteh was speaking on the topic: “Let’s Turn from Our Wicked Ways.”

Quoting 2 Chronicles 7: 14 ,”  if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”, he said as a people God require of us to seek his direction in all our ways.

This year festival was attended by the President, Nana Ado DankwaAkufo-Addo and many political leaders from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP).

Dr Tetteh, who is himself a native Dangbe, encouraged the chiefs and people to be united for development.

He prayed for God’s blessings on the land.
