Pentecost clinic records one delivery at New Year

Tarkwa (W/R), January 3, The Pentecost clinic at Tarkwa in the Western region, recoded one delivery on New Year, January 1, this year.

Madam Mariama Marlle, midwife in-charge of the maternity ward, disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the only baby delivered at the facility was a female and the pregnant woman went through normal delivery at 00610 hours.

As of 1720 hours that the GNA visited the Pentecost clinic, Madam Marlle said both the baby and mother were doing well.

However, at the Tarkwa Municipal hospital, Ghana Manganese Company Limited hospital, Ami Memorial hospital and Tarkwa Community hospital no birth was recorded in any of the four facilities.
