Some persons were diagnosed with Hepatitis B while others had high Blood pressure.

The statement said some cases were referred to physiotherapists who attended to individuals with knee and waist problems.

It said 63 per cent of people screened complained of general body pain, with 10 per cent having waist problems which they attributed to the physical nature of their work; bag weaving.

The statement said every patient at the medical outreach was provided with dewormers.

The statement said seven volunteers from the National Council for Persons with Disability were available to support, making a total volunteer corps of 13.

It said the programme was funded by DGI clinic and NCDWP.
