In a statement signed by the Constituency Chairman, Mr Oteng Adu and copied the Ghana News Agency, the Party called on people travelling during the festivities to exercise care and moderation.ť
The statement said the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and the drawing of the curtains on the past year should bring fulfillment to all Ghanaians and not pain.
The statement called on people to use the occasion to reflect on the past year with the view of having a better future.
śWe the constituency executives use the occasion to say ayekoo and thank you to our supporters for giving us the mandate at the just ended constituency delegates™ congress to serve the party for the next four years,ť it stated.
śIt is our appeal to the rank and file of the party to unite and work hard towards recapturing power from the National Democratic Congress government in order to bring smiles unto the faces of Ghanaians during occasions like these,ť it said.
The statement called on party supporters to use the occasion to forgive one another and rally behind the new executives to work together as one people with a common destiny.
śMay the joy and fun of the occasion, which we all rightly deserve, unite us more as members of NPP, and replenish our energies,ť it added.
