Chiraa (B/A), Feb. 28, GNA - A Founding Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kofi Mintah, has urged the party\'s functionaries and its executives to find time to interact with members of the party anywhere they go.
This, he said, would enable them to know the state of the party in the places where they visited and for them to brief members on certain issues which they might not know.
Mr Mintah, the first Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, made the call when he met some members of the party at a funeral at Chiraa in the Sunyani West Constituency.
Others present at the meeting were Nana Agyekum Badu, Chiraa Zonal Chairman of the party, Madam Janet Peprah, Sunyani West Women Organizer, and Sakyi Boateng Agyepong, Zongo New Town Assembly member.
The rest were Collins Frimpong, Sunyani West Deputy Youth Organizer, and Madam Adu Tumwaa Asebea, Branch Women\'s Organizer.
Mr Mintah urged supporters to work hard to ensure that the party retained power in 2012.
He said, \"there is no reward for unfinished work\" and urged each and every supporter to regard himself or herself as a member of the party\'s campaign team wherever they found themselves and to go all out to canvas for votes for the party.
Nana Agyeman Bdu, commended the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr Kodwo Nyamekye Marfo for the good work he had been doing to champion the Better Ghana Agenda and to promote the party in the Region.
He assured the Regional Minister of the party\'s support to make the Region to win all the seats in the 2012 elections.
Madam Peprah expressed gratitude to Mr Mintah for calling the meeting and said he had demonstrated that he had the welfare of the party at heart.
Mr Mintah had travelled from Winneba to attend a funeral at Chiraa in Brong Ahafo, and had deemed it fit to share a word with members of the party in the Region.
