Accra, July 30, GNA - Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as "Lilwin" has said perseverance, has been the key to his success, especially at the "very challenging times" of his career.
"Lilwin", said, the early stages of his career were not smooth, but he persevered to ensure his current status in the entertainment industry.
"Lilwin" who is also the Chief Executive Officer of new record label "Wezzy Empire" has crafted a stature for himself, which has undoubtedly made him one a top notch in the showbiz industry.
According to "Lilwin" climbing up the ladder of greatness, has not been that smooth adding that, "it got to a time, I nearly gave up on my acting career, because sometimes i was sacked from locations.
"Even if you were given the chance to act, you would not be paid." he added.
"This made it difficult for me, together with unpleasant criticisms from other colleagues in the movie industry, but i stayed focused to rise to the top.
"Today, I can say most of them would bow their heads in shame considering how far i have come".
"Lilwin" said his first track titled "Go Lilwin" with hiplife star Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known in the music circles as "Guru" played a defining role in his adaptation to the very competitive Ghanaian music scene of which he was also considered a consistent hit maker.
"My first track with Guru was a defining moment in my music career as it urged me on to do more considering, how Ghanaians have accepted my style but some musicians in the industry criticized me saying it was substandard.
"I did not give up, because I was bent on achieving greatness," Lilwin said.
The highly rated entertainer is expected to drop yet another single with ''Guru'' titled “Kwadwo Nkansah’’ in the next coming days.
