The Vice Chancellor stated that the VVU focused on whole-person development, adding "the rigours of your training here have helped shaped you into a better person, with values of excellence, integrity, and service that will make you stand out wherever you go."
He challenged the graduands to exhibit such values the school had inculcated in them in order to help create a better world, saying, "At your work places and in your communities, let people know you for your values."
