Dr Peter Attafuah, the Brong-Ahafo Regional Director of Education, charged members of the Board to help promote discipline among teaching and non-teaching staff and students.
He commended them for offering to take up the responsibility and urged the teachers to work harder and cooperate with them to improve the academic performance of the school to promote quality education in the Municipality.
Dr Attafuah further advised the students to respect authority, remained disciplined and take their studies serious so that they would grow to become useful adults in society.
The Regional Director also thanked the Nkoranza Traditional Council for releasing lands for the school and entreated the old students to come back and contribute their quota towards the development of the institution.
Mr. Atta Amponsah Frimpong, the Headmaster of the School, reminded the Board that their appointment was a constitutional mandate and pleaded with them to ensure judicious use of the school’s funds and collaborate with the Parent Teachers Association for academic progress.
Nana Adu Baffo Adade II, the Chairman of the Board, gave the assurance that members would work in unison in ensuring that a conducive atmosphere was created for effective teaching and learning.
Mr. Sully Al-hassan, the Nkoranza South Municipal Director of Education, applauded the Board members for their readiness to serve the School and asked them to be innovative and contribute significantly to the growth of education in the area.
