Kwahu Tafo (E/R), July 11, GNA - The Kwahu Tafo citizens in North America has commissioned a GH¢72,000.00 water project and donated a mower to the Kwahu Tafo Senior High School.
The project is to help stop the water shortages facing the school.
At a short ceremony to hand over the project to the School, Nana Okyere Gyengyah II, Krontihene of Kwahu Tafo and the Patron of the Association, said the project which started about four years ago was aimed at uplifting the image of the secondary school to a befitting level.
Nana Gyengyah II said the Association had planned to donate US$10,000 for the development of infrastructure of schools in Kwahu Tafo.
He said the Association had also donated an ECG machine to the Kwahu Tafo Health Centre.
The Krontihene assured of the determination of the Association to support the development of schools in the community so as to ensure that children in the area had access to quality education.
Mrs Grace Mensah, the Headmistress of the School, applauded the group for their kind gesture and assured that the facility would be well taken care of to ensure that it lasts for others to also benefit from it.
