Accra, Aug 6, GNA – Ghanaians have been urged to take advantage of the bothie feature on Nokia Android smartphones 6.1 and 7 Plus to share both front and back cameras simultaneously for split-screen photos and video with friends.
This would enable people to show their friends how important they are through the big influence of technology, and that bothie feature has enhanced moments with friends.
The advice was in a statement issued by HMD Global, home of Nokia phones and copied to the Ghana News Agency in connection with recognizing the importance of the International Friendship Day.
In 2011, the General Assembly of the United Nations declared 30th of July as the International Friendship Day, to celebrate the bonds we form with others, and to dedicate a day in honour of friends, which was proposed in 1958.
The statement said the exclusive Dual-Sight mode afforded Nokia Android smartphones users the opportunity of using both front and rear cameras, which were equipped with Zeiss optics, meaning every snapshot moment with your friends becomes a story worth sharing.
“The key highlight of the bothie feature on Nokia smartphones is the fact that it affords you the opportunity to share both sides of your stories – your side and your friend’s side,” it said.
The statement mentioned eight friendship facts that would interest Ghanaians as; “in a lifetime, you make 396 friends, but only one out of 12 friendships lasts; not having any friends can be dangerous to your health; it’s the friendship aspect in a marriage that makes it last; and your brain reacts the same way when you are in danger and when a friend is.”
The rest are; it is scientifically proven that the company of good friends reduce stress in life; close friends share about 1 per cent of their DNA; our best friends are pretty much like us; and friendship is the emotion babies recognize even before they start walking or talking.”
