Jumia Ghana, the leading e-commerce platform in Africa with presence in 11
countries, has launched the second edition of its Mobile Week dubbed: “Jumia
Mobile Week Reloaded.”
The week, which is described as the one and only mobile sale, and set to storm Ghana with more than 1000 phones is slated for May 30 to June 5.
Sponsored by Ecobank and Tigo, Jumia would partner five mega mobile phone brands to bring to its customers the best deals on the trendiest Smartphone for seven days, Mr Jean Phillipe Boul, the Country Manager of Jumia Ghana, said at the launch in Accra.
He said customers nationwide would be given the chance to purchase their dream phones at a price they would not be able to find anywhere.
Mr Boul noted that the Mobile week was simultaneously launched in all countries where Jumia operates with amazing offers for seven days, being hosted by different brand every day of the week.
On the mode of operation, the Country Manager explained that, “Every day from May 30 till June 5, Jumia would be offering major discounts on known brands such as Infinix, Itel, Samsung, Innjoo and Huawei”.
“Jumia Ghana will allocate each day to a specific brand, though one can still purchase other brands at the discounted prices,” he added.
According to Mr Boul, customers would be given up to 35 per cent discounts on all mobile devices and encouraged customers to browse the Jumia App to enable them get the best deals.
Mr George Mensah-Asante, the Executive Director of Ecobank Ghana and Head of Consumer Banking, said the partnership would bring convenience to all patrons of Jumia products and services during the week and beyond.
“Additionally, customers will benefit from a wider range of choices, price comparison, time saving and price discounts,” he said.
Mr Kinmo Cai, the Country Manger for Infinix Ghana, said the collaboration would help expand the journey to all parts of the nation.
Jumia Ghana does not only provide customers with the luxury of shopping from any location, but delivers the items to customers’ doorsteps through timely interventions.
