Accra, March 8, GNA - Dr Agnes Adu, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana International Trade Fair Company Limited, has assured the public of a “bigger and better fair” next year.
Speaking at a press soiree to round off this year’s 22nd International Trade Fair and Exhibition in Accra, Dr Adu announced a shift in buying and selling paradigm to a level of networking among entrepreneurs.
She said next year’s fair would kick start on February 27 and end on March 7.
Dr Adu was happy that expectations of the fair had been met and commended stakeholders for supporting it.
Mr Asamoah Baffour Oscar, the Head of Marketing, Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited, said this year’s fair attracted more than 20 foreign exhibitors from Morocco, South Africa, Madagascar, Nigeria, and Senegal among others.
He said the fair also attracted 100 to 1,000 business visitations with more than 1,500 persons thronging it.
The 22nd International Fair, which commenced on February 27 to March 7, this year, attracted more than 600 exhibitors.
