Explosion at Aboadze thermal plant kills two

Takoradi, Oct. 31, GNA – An explosion at the Aboadze Thermal plant on Wednesday killed two workers, Takoradi Police confirms to the Ghana News Agency in an interview.
According to ASP Ben Baah, Sekondi District Crime Officer, the police will launch an investigation into the incident immediately.
GNA investigation indicates that the two workers whose names were not given were working on a tanker before the explosion killing one instantly. The second person who sustained serious injuries was rushed to Aboadze Hospital but died later.
However GNA’s attempt to get Ms Olivia Adjei Larbi, Aboadze Thermal Plant officer in charge of Community Relations, proved futile.
